Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, revisions, and cancellations are handled for services and digital products provided by Joshua Aluaye Ohiole through jao.jaotechgworld.com. Please read this policy carefully before making any payment.
1. Our Commitment
We are committed to delivering quality work that meets the agreed scope and standards. If you have concerns about a delivery, we will always attempt to resolve the matter through revision, correction, or direct communication before any refund is considered. Client satisfaction is a priority in every engagement.
2. Digital Products
2.1 No Refund Policy for Digital Downloads
Due to the nature of digital products, including eBooks, guides, courses, training materials, templates, and other downloadable resources, all sales are final once the product has been delivered or accessed. We do not offer refunds for digital products that have been downloaded, accessed, or opened.
2.2 Exceptions for Digital Products
A refund or replacement may be considered in the following circumstances:
- The product file is corrupted or unreadable and a working replacement cannot be provided.
- The product delivered is substantially different from the product described at the time of purchase.
- A duplicate charge occurred due to a technical payment error, verified by payment records.
All refund requests for digital products must be submitted within 48 hours of purchase with a clear explanation and supporting evidence sent to dmgorighteous@gmail.com.
3. Service-Based Projects
3.1 Before Work Begins
If you have paid a deposit or full payment for a service and request cancellation before any work has commenced, you are eligible for a full refund minus any processing or transaction fees incurred.
3.2 During Active Work
Once work has commenced on a commissioned project, the following applies:
- If less than 30% of the project is complete at the time of cancellation, a partial refund of up to 50% of the amount paid may be considered, subject to the nature of work completed.
- If 30% or more of the project is complete, no refund is available. You will receive all completed work up to the point of cancellation.
- The determination of completion percentage is made by Joshua Aluaye Ohiole based on the agreed project scope and milestone documentation.
3.3 After Delivery
Once a final deliverable has been submitted and accepted (or deemed accepted after 7 days without formal objection), no refund will be issued. Revision requests after acceptance are subject to the agreed revision policy or may be treated as new scope.
4. Revisions Policy
All service engagements include a defined number of revisions as agreed at the outset of the project. Revision requests must be:
- Submitted within the agreed revision window after delivery.
- Within the original agreed scope of work.
- Clearly described with specific, actionable feedback.
Requests that fall outside the original scope are not covered under revisions and will be quoted separately.
5. Training and Educational Services
For training programmes, coaching sessions, and educational services:
- Sessions cancelled at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund or reschedule.
- Sessions cancelled less than 24 hours in advance or missed without prior notice are non-refundable.
- Group training enrolment fees are non-refundable once the programme has commenced.
- For ongoing training programmes, refunds are not available after the second session has been delivered.
6. Academic Project Assistance
For academic project and assignment assistance services:
- Full refund if the project has not been started and cancellation is requested within 24 hours of payment.
- Partial refund proportional to work remaining if cancellation is requested before 50% completion.
- No refund once the final document has been delivered to the client.
Academic project assistance is provided as a professional writing and documentation service. Outcomes, including academic grades or institutional acceptance, are not guaranteed and do not constitute grounds for a refund.
7. Cryptocurrency and Irreversible Payments
Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible by nature. Any approved refund for a service paid via cryptocurrency will be processed in the equivalent amount in Naira (NGN) or an agreed stable equivalent at the time of refund, not as a crypto reversal. Approved refunds for crypto payments will be processed via bank transfer within 5 to 10 business days.
8. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, contact us through one of the following channels within the applicable timeframe:

Your request must include:
- Your full name and contact details.
- The service or product the request relates to.
- Proof of payment (receipt, transaction ID, or bank alert).
- A clear explanation of the grounds for the refund request.
All requests will be reviewed within 3 to 5 business days. A response will be sent confirming approval, partial approval, or denial with explanation.
9. Approved Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 5 to 10 business days via the original payment method where technically possible, or via bank transfer for cryptocurrency and cash payments. Transaction fees deducted by payment processors are non-recoverable and will not be included in any refund amount.
10. Dispute Resolution
If you believe a refund decision is unfair, you may escalate the matter by sending a detailed written appeal to dmgorighteous@gmail.com. We are committed to fair resolution and will review all disputes in good faith. Where an agreement cannot be reached, the matter may be referred to mediation before any formal legal proceedings are considered.
11. Changes to This Policy
This Refund Policy may be updated from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase or service engagement governs your transaction.
